Dr. Andre Fernandes is one of the very few doctors I have worked with who uniquely stands out. His enthusiasm and positive attitude are a big differential which help build transformational relationships with medical students and other doctors. Having had multiple experiences in past medical projects, I have found it hard to find someone with such a proactive mindset like Dr. Andre's. You can clearly see that he puts 101% passion in whatever he does, and this is very inspiring for us, medical students, to see. With his extensive experience in leadership and coaching, he really paves the way to make a difference both in a micro and macro level.

Not only a role model, he is also a mentor, who has taken me by the hand to help me brainstorm how far I can get in my career. I am stil very impressed with how Dr. Andre was very realistic yet very encouraging about the career pathways available to me, and putting together a strategic plan to get there. His career guidance is unique because he is always making sure he is listening to the person, and tailoring his advice in a very individualised approach.

He is very knowledgeable about the requirements for international doctors to enter and thrive in the NHS system, and extremely helpful when it comes to meeting the criteria to suceed in specialty training applications. Dr. Andre has a very impressive medical portfolio, and is more than willing to help medical trainees to reach the same (or an even higher) level of professional CV.
