He is a highly reliable and enthusiastic team member.

I have known and worked with Dr Fernandes since August 2020 up until now (November 2021). Dr Fernandes has been a key member of the Trust Orthopaedic and Ortho-Geriatric governance group. He has led and championed key projects within this working group; working with medical, orthopaedic, nursing, management and therapy disciplines. This includes quality improvement work around the assessment of new neck of femur fracture (NOF) admissions, reversal of anticoagulants in NOF patients and creating a new electronic NOF proforma.

He is a highly reliable and enthusiastic team member. He is dedicated in attending these monthly meetings, working hard in between meetings to further this work. He is courteous, respectful of others and has a positive attitude toward work and his colleagues. He has shown great initiative in his quality improvement work projects also. He is a champion for the betterment of services including neck of femur admission pathway.

He shows professionalism in his work and respect for colleagues. What is remarkable for his years of training, is his ability already to engage and work with management and IT groups, which will put him in good stead for his future career to develop services as a senior clinician.
